A lesson learnt

Never ever play badminton in an algae infested backyard -that's the new lesson I have learnt . After the demand of my pestering brother and because I had nothing better to do , I relucantly agreed to play .In order to prove my mettle as a good player( which I'm not ) I attempted to hit back a rather far flung shot ,landing ( slipping in the most lunatic manner) in the algae infested part of the backyard and brusing my knee badly .
                                                     It bled for an hour and hurts even now and to top it all I can't go swimming, because coach thinks the wound can go bad if exposed  to water *sob*. Now all I can do is the watch friends on my computer or go for a limpy walk!!

I use spectales that make me look like a nerd which is a big irony. Somehow I manage to break my specs atleast once a month and therefore I like exprementing , not that a particular style makes me look different.

The glasses break in the most comical ways I once slept with them on  and when I woke up they were gone , the frameless ones  had a more miserable fate getting smashed  under my brother's butt who " accidently " sat on them , that is when I decided to get thick rimmed grandma glasses , which made me look even more geeky and now lay abondaned in the corner of my table.

Two months back I found a really nice one with steel rims , it cost me a fortune ( 1000 bucks is a fortune for me) and a lot of scolding. They looked awesome and made me look less nerdy but they were broken in the most fashionable manner by my six year old cousin who mercilessly twisted them into two halves. I went to the optician who said they were broken beyond repair , I was heartbroken .I went without spectales and with constant headaches for two weeks. My father was really happy to see me without glasses, he likes me that way according I have beautiful eyes ( only parents can think that way).

His bubble of joy was burst when I got the whackiest( according to him) glasses in bright red(in picture). I think they look super cool. Though my dad swears he is going to get a new sensible one very soon ( when he has time) . Guess until then I can carry off these glasses with full tashan and look fumky.These look great with black and red t-shirts , well others i think I have to get another pair.And thankfully I can write my blog now coz without specs its impossible for me to use the computer for a long time.Got any more whacky ideas?? I could do with some before I go to college.
