A perfect defect !!

Hexadectylism , the word may scare you . No, it isn't related to rocket science in any way, neither it is about hexadecimals(a part of maths  I like)  on the contrary it's the coolest defect (don't call me crazy)  anyone can have  . For the unaware homo sapiens hexadectylism is a defect in which a person is deflected with six fingers or toes in one hand or feet.

I can say it isn't a defect that causes any sort of  agony by personal experience. Ya , I have six fingers in my left hand. People I know call it the double thumb syndrome. I love all the attention it gets me. The Ooooos and Ahhhs of people enthrall me. It's great to get attention for almost no reason at all.The surprised remarks are followed by in numerous inquiries , most of them really silly and all of them very common. I feel like a phenomenal person. You know like the celebrities have to answer the same questions again and again , it's kind of the same thing.

The funniest question I always get is " Hey are you Hrithik Roshan's sister"? I am so  exasperated of denying this fact , that I now have actually started agreeing to it. My response to this is now " Yeah buddy  , he is a very close cousin of mine , if you want to meet him or something just let me know". Although nobody buys that story.

Another question I am tired of answering is " Does it hurt ?" Followed by this question my attention hogging thumb is mercilessly squeezed and twisted , until I wince with pain  the squeezing and twisting continues.         " Dude if you do that it is obviously going to hurt."  And oh! I almost forget this one . " Did you have this thing even when you were born?" Hearing this almost provokes me to bang my head against the wall , but I  sarcastically answer " No, I got a thumb implant when Hrithik bhai adopted me , you see I needed to have something in common with him."

I enjoy the momentary attention I get . The look of surprise thrills. Right now I can recall one more incident related to my thumb. I had gone for a movie  with an old friend and her friend. When the friend's friend ( i barely knew) noticed the thumb and said that , when I (me) get famous in the world , she would say that she once watched a movie with me. That was really nice of her .This may sound  vain but it's great to hear such things from people you hardly know.

It's very overwhelming when random people come and compliment you ( not only because of the thumb) .I'm fortunate enough to get that often.I can go on and on about my thumb tales but the pile of assignments , projects and presentations on my table is getting envious of my blog writing , and before its too late I should go back to those.

On a completely different note can you suggest any new invention that may come up in the year2030. Need to shoot an advertisement for that. Will elaborate on the ad project later. All sorts of suggestion are welcome. Need it in three days. Please help!

I have a friend and she has six fingers on her right hand. It must be exciting when people call you Hrithik's sister :) Who wouldn't want to be? About a 2030 invention, how about a search engine like Google except that instead of searching for the keyword amongst billions of web pages and displaying most relevant links, it would search the answer itself for us that we were seeking. It is, in fact, an active research area in Computer Science and involves natural language processing and a lot other things but such a search engine that can match Google in speed and efficiency is a long long way away!

@ ajaykpg welcome to teenage babbling.Stay tuned!
It's kinda cool to be called the Hrithik's sister.

And the search engine idea is really cool, i would not have thought of that even in my wildest dreams. What I had in my mind was a potion to regrow hair( to help the bald people) Thanks a lot but unfortunately we are past the deadline.
